Narrow Path

There are times in life when you just allow yourself to stay away from joy. It is such a horrible choice, yet quite attractive in a negative way because it is easier to let yourself down than lifting yourself up. (Same idea as gravity huh?)

That was the stage that my mood remained in yesterday and this morning. There was a melancholy feeling that casted on me like a spell, or rather a curse, to be precise.

Life is tough, but don't forget that God gave us choices though.
For those poor people who state that they have no choice, they really do. They have the choice to be content, in whatever situations they are in. Regardless of outside factors such as social status or even one's appearance, I believe there is a beautiful heaven inside everyone. But first, people must open this door to accept it; to allow it influence his or her life.

That piece of beautiful heaven is where God is present.
That piece of beautiful heaven is where God reside on before we were even born, He's just waiting for us to clear our blind eyes clouded by sins; or the spider nets, dirts that clouded the door to this beautiful heaven.

Dr. Bak Fun Wong once told us that we see a glimpse of heaven every time when we experienced something good. Not "good" in our standard, but in God's standard; something that is good according to God's eyes. Once you develop a relationship with someone, you will know how they feel. So you can actually feel this goodness from heaven when you've done what's pleasant to Him.

I can not find anyone on earth can sooth me so well, know me so well, as God.
Oh Lord, How dumb was I to allow myself drown in a melancholy mood while You patiently call my soul to wake up, to cheer up!

Satan can not separate us from God's love, but only sneakily pull us away from God. For as long as I am alive, I want to stay close to God and His never ending love!

Not too many people choose to walk in this narrow path with God, because it seems more difficult. However, narrow path is actually more safe, because you don't get lost easily; and you don't get drag with the flow of the crowd either. =]
